Yes, Ace Pool Installation offers free phone estimates for all of our pool services. Contact us today to schedule your free phone estimate.

For complex jobs that require us to visit your location, thorough Site Assessments are also available.

Are permits required to install a swimming pool?

Yes, permits from your local municipality zoning and construction department are required whether you are installing a new pool for the first time, or replacing an existing pool with a new structure. Several aspects of the permit process, include the zoning application and a construction application which includes a building subcode and an electrical subcode. The permitting process may take up to several weeks from submission to approval. All permits must be approved prior to the pool installation. Permits are not required for liner replacements or repair work.

Where can I purchase a pool?

Ace Pool Installation has had ongoing business relationships with local pool distributors throughout the South Jersey region since 2003. As such, we are able to assist you through this process and/or put you in direct communication with a distributor in your region. Online purchases may also be made from a website of you choice.

How long does the pool installation process take?

Once permits have been approved the installation process from start to completion depends on several factors including location, grading, access, size of the pool, and style of pool. This may be as quick as a one day, or up to a week for larger more complex projects. Inground pools may take up to several weeks from start to finish.

How much space is required to access the yard?

Ace Pool Installation is equipped with several tractors of various sizes. The amount of access to enter the yard is dependent upon the size of the pool structure being installed and the amount of grading required to level the surface. This may be as little as five feet to as much as eight feet. Semi-Inground and Inground style will require a minimum of seven feet of access.

Does your company perform ground grading and dirt removal?

Yes, Ace pool Installations grades pool sites specific to the manufacturers construction requirements. Precise laser leveling equipment is utilized to assist our tractor operators and staff during this process. Excess top soil and dirt are commonly left on site. However, dirt removal and haul off site is available.

Do I need to be home for the installation and how do I pay?

An adult or responsible person is required to be home to direct our staff in determining the specific location of the pool in the yard (the pool location must be in compliance with the zoning requirement as approved on the permit). This will also include the locations of both the filter and ladder. The staff will require access to an electrical outlet and water source during the installation process.

The adult or responsible person must be present to provide final payment. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check, or credit card. Venmo and PayPal are not accepted.
